Primero aprendiendo castellano y después con una beca que le concedió la Diputación para hacer prácticas en la Asociación de Periodistas de la provincia. Tres meses en los que, asegura, ha profundizado en los «secretos» de la elaboración de las noticias.
-Una buena experiencia.
-Sí. He aprendido mucho. Por un lado español, que tenía un nivel muy básico cuando llegué y también me han servido mucho para hacer prácticas como periodista. He cubierto noticias y muchas de ellas se han publicado en la página web. Los periodistas Yolanda Pérez y Sergio Lorenzo me han ayudado mucho, me han corregido los errores.

-Sí, claro. Ha habido mucha gente que me ha preguntado de dónde soy y yo les he explicado la situación del pueblo saharaui y la vida en los campamentos.

-Quiero ver a mi padre y a mi familia, que hace un año que no les veo, pero mi idea es volver a España y trabajar aquí. Quiero trabajar de periodista. Al principio tenía miedo, pero después de esta experiencia me veo capaz.
-¿Cuál es el mejor recuerdo que se lleva de Cáceres?
-Lo mejor que me llevo, sin duda, es el acento cacereño. Es precioso, me encanta, aunque se coman algunas letras. Cuando hablo por teléfono con mi padre me dice que se me ha pegado, y eso me gusta. Es lo más bonito que me llevo.
